What is in-person dating?

Most gay dating today happens through the internet or apps. HEDER's core service is one-on-one in-person dating. We match you based on your criteria, and our date coordinators arrange the time and place so both parties can meet directly — the first step to getting to know each other.

What is the process?

Is there a fee for the service?

We offer a free consultation interview. After deciding to use the service, your dedicated consultant will design a plan for you. Paying the corresponding fee makes you a member who can enjoy the service. For detailed steps, feel free to contact your dedicated consultant.

Are the members here lower quality because they're paying?

The most common occupations among HEDER members are military/civil servants, doctors, and engineers — above the general social average. Due to Taiwan's social environment, many gay men cannot come out at work or at home, and cannot comfortably use dating apps, so they choose HEDER. The database is the most comprehensive and diverse for those seeking stable relationships, with no correlation to "quality."

Will my personal information or identity be disclosed?

HEDER strictly follows the Personal Data Protection Act. During the date-arrangement process, no personal information will be disclosed to anyone outside of HEDER without the member's consent. For date reservations, only the restaurant booking details — such as last name and the last three digits of your mobile number — are provided.

After filling in the form, how long does it take to receive a consultant interview invitation?

After submitting the online form, you will receive an email notification and a consultant phone call within 1 to 3 days for an initial assessment and to schedule an interview. Interviews are by appointment and will be scheduled within 1 to 7 business days after the consultant calls. Time slots are available on weekdays and weekends, day and evening.
